Project overview

How this project was approached.

The context and problem this project set out to address.

The PERN Executive Meeting is a two-day professional meeting held on May 6–7, at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning in Toronto, Ontario. The event brings members together for learning and networking, with a dinner at Leña Restaurant after the first day, and breakfast and lunch provided on the second. Because registration is required for every attendee, we designed and developed a dedicated event website with PHP, HTML and CSS. It lets attendees view event details and the full schedule, and register and pay for their tickets online through Stripe. The site features a live countdown timer, a tabbed day-by-day schedule, venue details with an embedded map, and clear registration calls to action throughout, making it the single online hub for the conference.

  • Important event information was scattered across emails.06
  • Attendees facing registration problems needed quick support.07
