Project overview

A model for the work - not a claim about completed work.

The framing below shows the kind of problem this concept is built to address.

The HomoraHouse app is the mobile companion to the HomoraHouse website, a Canadian platform for home decor products and on-demand home services. Built with React Native from a single codebase for both iOS and Android, it lets users shop decor by room (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, dining and more), browse editor's picks, and view rich product pages with colour variants, live stock levels and ratings. They can also book verified service pros for cleaning, handyman work, painting, moving help, electrical and gardening. Each pro has a verified profile with reviews, pricing, coverage area and bookable service packages. Users manage orders, service bookings, addresses and coupons from one account, and get help from a built-in AI assistant. The app runs on a MySQL database, and we handled the full journey from scratch through to publishing on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

5 challenges

Objectives

The problems the concept is built to solve.

  • Building and maintaining separate iOS and Android apps is costly and slow.01
  • Users needed to shop decor and book services without switching between apps.02
  • Customers need to trust service providers before booking them into their homes.03
  • Large catalogs are hard to browse on small screens.04
  • Publishing to app stores is complex for businesses new to mobile.05
Mapped to scope
5 moves

Solution direction

How the build is shaped to meet them.

  • 01We built one React Native codebase that runs natively on both platforms.
  • 02We combined decor shopping and home services booking in one unified app.
  • 03We built verified pro profiles with reviews, experience, coverage area and pricing.
  • 04We designed room-based categories, filters, sorting and sale and stock badges for mobile.
  • 05We handled the full process from scratch, including setup, compliance, and submission to the App Store and Google Play.

About this demo

Clear about what is - and is not - shown.

Is this ecommerce case study based on a real client?
It is presented as demonstration content showing the intended portfolio structure. A real client is only named once they have approved being identified.
Are the outcomes measured results?
No claimed percentages, revenue figures, client names, logos, or testimonials are shown. Verified evidence can replace the placeholder outcome section later.
Could Nextryzer build a similar ecommerce system?
The actual scope would follow discovery of workflows, integrations, users, security obligations, operating constraints, and desired business outcomes.
