Project overview

How this project was approached.

The context and problem this project set out to address.

SimmyCat Computer Academy is an ISO 9001:2015 certified computer training institute in Ludhiana. It offers online and offline coaching across programming, development, computer applications, digital marketing and business software such as Tally Prime, DCA and MS Office. We handled the academy's complete digital presence: we designed and built a modern website with Next.js and MySQL, deployed it on AWS, set up their social media pages, and ran their advertising campaigns. The website presents the full course catalog, explains the online and classroom learning options, lets students verify their certificates online, and makes it easy for students to send a course enquiry or contact the academy on WhatsApp.

7 challenges

Objectives

The problems the project set out to solve.

  • The academy had no strong online presence to reach students beyond walk-ins and word of mouth.01
  • Many courses across different fields needed to be presented clearly and in an organized way.02
  • Students needed to understand the difference between online and classroom training at a glance.03
  • Employers and students needed a trustworthy way to verify certificates issued by the academy.04
  • Most visitors browse on mobile, so the site had to work smoothly on every screen size.05
  • The academy needed to rank locally in search results for computer courses in Ludhiana.06
  • The website, social media and advertising needed one consistent brand identity.07
